The maximum number of students in a class is limited to 8 students.

Registration will be confirmed upon the full payment of the fees at the counter or on-line.

Payments for courses can be made by cash or with on-line payment. Cheques are accepted.

Course fees are strictly non-transferable.

Books purchased online are not delivered at home but the book will be pass at first lesson.

Classes are not held on public holidays.Students can make up for a missed class by attending a similar class on a different day/time (subject to seats availability) or a private class that will cost 65SGD per hour.

Classes will start with a minimum of 4 students registered and a maximum of 8 students. For classes with less than 4 students, options for joining equivalent groups are offered. Cancellation is always the last option considered. In case of cancellation, students can choose either a refund or a deferment to the next session. GST and transaction fees are, in any case, no-refundable. Discounted course fees cannot be refunded, in any case. Please note that students will be eligible for refund only in case of cancellation of the course by the Language Education Center Pte. Ltd..

By confirming the order, the teaching hours purchased by the student/company will be valid for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. Any unused hours remaining after the expiration of the validity period shall be forfeited by the student and will not be refunded or credited. The school will not be responsible for reminding the student of the expiration date of the language teaching hours.

Our school offers both a wide range of group courses (4-8 students per group) and private classes which vary from the very beginner level A1 till the more advanced and proficient ones (C1-C2), in accordance with the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: level A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2).Our students manage to linguistically progress from one level to another in less than one year, by following a precise progressive language learning path, which has been meticulously planned so that to facilitate their learning both from a didactic and psycho-linguistic viewpoint.

For this reason, each linguistic level is divided into 3 modules (e.g. A1: module 1, module 2, module 3): each module is taught throughout 12 lessons, for a total of 24 hours, which allows our students to effectively progress in their target language learning process. Furthermore, all our classes follow the communicative language teaching approach, as our teachers strongly emphasise interaction in the Italian language as both the means and the ultimate aim of their students’ study and learning.

Students must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance (e.g. 9 lessons out of 12) to be eligible for a Certificate of Attendance awarded by the Language Education Center Pte. Ltd.. Certificate on request.

By reaching a minimum of A1 level, the student is able to test their Italian language knowledge through the language exam CELI directly at our Italian Education Center accredited venue.

The CELI certification is a qualification issued by the University for Foreigners of Perugia, which declares the level (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2) of linguistic and communicative competences in Italian as a foreign language.

The CILS certification is a qualification issued by the University for Foreigners of Siena, which declares the level (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2) of linguistic and communicative competences in Italian as a foreign language.

The Language Education Center Pte. Ltd. reserves the right to amend, add or remove any of the Terms and Conditions without prior notice.

When you register for a course, either online or in person, we collect personal information that is stored in our system. LEC policy concerning privacy is strong: we do not share, sell, lend or lease any of your personal information to third parties outside the Italian Association Group of Companies. LEC reserves the right to amend this privacy policy at any time or without notice.
